The shop is suitable for take-away. The food was very good and the portions were large. Unfortunately, we had to wait around 30 minutes for our food even though we were the only customers in the shop at the time. Many people chose to take their food away, probably because the atmosphere was not very pleasant to stay in – it was loud, hot, and not nicely decorated. That said, the food was excellent, and paying $40 for two large portions and water is very reasonable.

They operate in two shifts, so make sure to catch them! * Mon – Fri: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM & 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM * Sat: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM * Sun: Closed (Note: Saturday lunch finishes a bit earlier at 2:00 PM!) Unbeatable Cost-Performance! Honestly, this has to be the best value for money in all of Cairns! The quality and portion sizes you get for the price are incredible. Truly a hidden gem! Absolutely Delicious! Every single dish I’ve tried here is packed with authentic flavors and is super satisfying. You can really taste the freshness in their cooking. It’s 10/10 every single time! Friendly Vibes Only! The service staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming! They always have a big smile on their faces, which makes the whole experience even better. You can feel the great energy! I have not been to Thai Tea Time for some time due to changes in geography. Today, I returned on a craving. I was not disappointed. Perfect Green Thai Curry with vegies.. maybe a few more vegies, though that is every where now. The taste superseded any of that. And the coconut rice? Is bar none. I will be back. And back again. Thank you for the wonderful food.
